T.J. Houshmandzadeh…Signed by the Seattle Seahawks  From the dysfunctional ineptitude of the Bengals to the just plain ineptitude of the Seahawks, T.J. Houshmandzadeh’s arrival in Seattle might just be the key to winning the NFC West Division Title.  A seventh round pick by Cincinnati in 2001, Houshmandzadeh toiled on the sidelines for two years before having a breakout season in 2004. The promotion of Housh to the starting lineup helped give the Bengals a dominating presence in the passing game . Enter March 2009, when the Seahawks came calling and like a mad jail break, Housh went running. With a five-year, $40 million contract in hand, Seattle left little doubt that Housh would become the Hawks number one target and top fantasy wide receiver.  FANTASY IMPACT Seattle’s starting wide receivers entering training camp this season appears to be Houshmanzadeh at flanker, Deion Branch in the slot and Ben Obomanu at split end. Unfortunately for the Seahawks, durability concerns persist in their passing game. In 2008, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck missed nine games due to back and leg injuries. Branch also missed games due to a knee injury and has yet to participate in training camp. Obomanu, the only other healthy receiver in training camp, suffered a broken clavicle and behind him, Nate Burleson is recovering from a torn ACL. Early reports indicate that Matt Hasselbeck is fully recovered. If this is true and Branch can make a full recovery then the Seahawks’ passing game could be one of the best in the NFC.  In fantasy drafts this season, Houshmanzadeh projects as a high second tier fantasy receiver and likely a third or fourth round pick in most 12 team leagues. Despite the injury concerns of his teammates, Housh has the talent to be a consistent fantasy points producer and your fantasy football starter!  DISCLAIMER: The facts expressed here belong to everybody, the opinions to me. The distinction is yours to make…
